No pressure, no diamonds. Mary Case
Crystals grew inside rock like arithmetic flowers. They lengthened and spread, added plane to plane in an awed and perfect obedience to an absolute geometry that even stones—maybe only the stones—understood. Annie Dillard
I prefer to explore the most intimate moments, the smaller, crystallized details we all hinge our lives on. Rita Dove
In the attitude of silence the soul finds the path in a clearer light, and what is elusive and deceptive resolves itself into crystal clearness. Our life is a long and arduous quest after Truth. Mahatma Gandhi
I see where we are starting to pay some attention to our neighbors to the south. We could never understand why Mexico wasn’t just crazy about us; for we have always had their good will, and oil and minerals, at heart. Will Rogers
The new Moon in Sagittarius occurs on Tuesday November 29, and, it's another very interesting, challenging and rather confronting one. This new Moon is exactly conjunct Juno and is squaring the Moon's nodes, and, Neptune. This can have us wondering about our direction; where to from here, how can we make it to there, what's next in a world of possibilities, how can we trust, how can we rally faith, how can we feel sure of our direction?
Mercury is trine Uranus and square Chiron, so, it is by listening to the stories that we tell ourselves that we can find a new story, a new paradigm perhaps, something that more closely fits the story that we want to be aligning with.
Mercury is passing over the Galactic Center (GC)at the time of the new Moon and for a few days following it. Therefore, this is a fabulous time for making those decisions, those affirmations, to get in touch with our powers of conscious manifestation and this is a powerful opportunity to be doing it. We can be, or become, more and more aligned with our true sense of self, especially if we take notice of our thoughts, words, objectives, desires, etc.
Venus and Uranus are in an exact square, bringing up more of these kinds of questions; are we aligning ourselves with the right purpose, how are our relationships with others really shaping up, are there people/possessions/money issues/moral values, etc, that we are hanging onto that no longer serve us? Are we needing to cut off, say goodbye, move away or somehow disengage from those things or people that run counter to our values or objectives?
Mars is trining Jupiter, and, the aspect becomes exact two days after this new Moon. This can really signal new beginnings, new projects, ideas being put into motion, etc. Both Mars and Jupiter are sextiling Saturn (Saturn is at the mid-point of the trine), so, concentrated effort can bring some good rewards, there can be 'karmic payoffs' for good planning or things that have been set in motion some time before. This aspect can be very rewarding as long as we find ourselves seeking an outcome, position or place that feels safe and sound. No big risks should be taken: Everything should be considered in the clear light of day.
Jupiter and Pluto are in a square aspect. This can bring about big divides amongst people, especially when it comes to politics. We can feel very attached to our political, social, religious or spiritual beliefs, and, we may feel rather confronted by those who disagree. Of course, we may have people feeling that way about us when we say what's on our minds. This can be a good aspect, as long as the energies don't become volatile, in which case big arguments can ensue. We've had this aspect for the last few weeks. I'm sure that most people have felt the impacts of this in some measure, at least.
Here's a link to a recording I made about this new Moon. Listen here.
