October's Aries full Moon occurs on October 5 in the U.S. and on October 6 in Australia. It is yet another very powerful lunation, and, in the chart of the full Moon set for Washington D.C., Pluto is smack on the ascendant. This can bring up issues to do with power and control, and, well, it can have people either going into more fear in the US from recent (and not so recent) events, or, it can be a sign that people can pull back their sense of personal power and bring about a transformation in their lives. Pluto plays a big part of this full Moon, as, just hours after the full Moon, the Moon squares Pluto, and, just days after, the Sun does the same. A lot of realisations and 'aha' moments can descend on us and we can find answers to things we've been wondering about.
In amongst it we are likely to be seeing more and more evidence of the abuse of power by those 'in charge', by those in government, by those who appear to be pulling the strings. Of course, we can avoid the 'string pulling' by not spending our lives playing the games that the establishment wants us to play. In other words, it's time to emerge from the 'coal mine' of Libra 12 and spend more time enjoying the fruits and joy of Libra 13 (the Sun transits over these degrees at this full Moon).
The trick might very well be to stop, or, lessen the time we spend listening to the news, to stop participating in the 'the bomb's going to go off at any moment' energy that's around. As hard as it sounds (and I find it very difficult to not 'care' or 'watch' the news myself), if we're not observing what's going on then we can regain a sense of peace and calm. It's been a very difficult couple of months...
Mercury is conjunct (together with) the Sun at this full Moon, and, it opposes the Moon. Mercury's message seems to be that we can do well to see others through a more compassionate, caring and non judgemental lens. In fact, I feel that this is very important at this time. Of course, we may be observing some and seeing that we're better off without them in our lives, in our sphere, in our attention. We may want to block them or drop them if they're taking up too much time or emotional energy. However, it can be through softening our lens (our expectations) of others that we can see them more clearly, to see them for who they are instead of perhaps trying to mold them into who we think they should be (or, how they 'should' act).
A rather big, even if short-lived, planetary aspect is the current Jupiter/Uranus opposition. Jupiter and Uranus opposed on two very interesting degrees: Jupiter on Libra 28: A MAN ALONE IN DEEP GLOOM, UNNOTICED, ANGELS COMES TO HIS AID, and, Uranus is on Aries 28: A LARGE DISAPPOINTED AUDIENCE. This opposition can have many feeling like they want (or need or must find) more freedom, more liberation, the ability to come and go as they please, to not be restricted. There can be depression in these degrees, in both of them, and, it is fascinating to note that they are always opposite each other - these degrees Aries 28 and Libra 28, so, this axis can be very much about adjusting our expectations, rallying to help others who need help, letting go of preconceived ideas of how things should be rather than how they are OR it can show the need to adjust our minds to more positive outcomes and to stick with watching The Stories That We Tell Ourselves. When negative thoughts come to mind, it can be a good idea to immediately discount them with "not useful", "not interesting", "not now, no"... and, simply clear the mind and replacing those thoughts with more positive ones. It works well (especially as we're talking about Jupiter and Uranus here) to just drop any negative or useless thoughts and listen to the birds, music, soothing talks on Youtube or Ted or the like.
Bringing much lighter energies is the conjunction of Venus and Mars at this full Moon as this conjunction is also in a nice trine aspect with Pluto. This can align us more with our objectives and provide us with insight into how we can improve our lives, and, in many cases, we can improve our relationships by gaining a better understanding of why some people (events, memories, commitments, etc) are the way they are.
With Venus and Mars squaring Saturn very soon after the full Moon, we can find that we, or others, make some decisions about our future, our relationships and where we're headed. This full Moon has rather a strong message about 'destination' as Venus and Mars are both on Virgo 20: A CARAVAN OF CARS HEADED FOR PROMISED LANDS, and, Saturn is on Sagittarius 23: A GROUP OF IMMIGRANTS FULFILLING THE REQUIREMENTS FOR ENTERING A NEW COUNTRY. Sometimes, of course, we are not free to just 'move on', change homes, relationships, change countries even, but, we can do it in our minds by dropping the stories that keep us stuck in a state that we might not want to continue in.
This is especially true as Saturn is in a nice trine aspect with the Moon's north node, and, in fact, we have a lovely grand trine with the Moon's node, Saturn and Uranus, signalling that it's time to get 'real' about our objectives - time to make some decisions. Adding to this is the message from Chiron; it's time to focus on your 'projectives', your objectives, the things that will make you happy. Chiron on Pisces 26 can signal the end of some relationships, but, more than anything, it says that it's time to be clear-headed about the dialogue you have going about your life.

The full Moon each month marks a time of heightened energies and events. It often marks the culmination of the energies released at the new Moon. Emotions can be supercharged as the Sun and Moon are on opposite sides of the zodiac and illumination is increased - it's like we can see in the dark - and we can be hyper-aware as well as being hyper-awake. The effects of a full Moon can be major or minor, depending on how they interact with your own chart. Sometimes, realisations or events that are unleashed, or unlocked, can stretch their meaning months into the future. A lot can be learned at the time of the full Moon and whether it's lunacy or illumination, or a combination of both, there's magic unleashed with every full Moon.
The full Moon is on Aries 13: A BOMB WHICH FAILED TO EXPLODE IS NOW SAFELY HIDDEN FROM DISCOVERY - the following is from my book The Sabian Oracle: 360 Degrees Of Wisdom -
Commentary: ‘A Bomb Which Failed to Explode’ shows potentially explosive energies are around which haven’t gone off yet that may now be ‘Safely’ defused. Things are “safe” from detection, but dangerous elements are possibly still within. Handling ‘A Bomb’ needs to be done with extreme care and caution. That the ‘Bomb’ is ‘Now Safely Hidden From Discovery’ shows it’s still potentially explosive, but has somehow been made safe. The duration of the apparent calm depends on whether the “defusing” is done with attention to all of the details involved, no matter how small.
Oracle: Has this situation been defused or is still likely to ‘Explode’? Unexploded ‘Bombs’ can be like grenades – ready to go off at any moment, spraying everyone with shrapnel. The ‘Bomb’ is often something of an emotional nature, but can also be the suppression of a truth that has emotional side effects. There may be time to eliminate the impending explosion before it is discovered, bringing relief and release. If, however, things remain charged up, the result could be depression or internal anger and calling in the “bomb squad” may be necessary. This could mean the help of friends, family, and assistants. Calling in your own emotional, mental or spiritual ‘Bomb’ squad allows you to take control of your emotional nature. If a ‘Bomb’ is ‘Discovered’, it may point to the guilty party who will have to explain their behavior. Did you plant this ‘Bomb’ or did someone else? Take time to reflect on rash emotional decisions or situations that, if ‘Exploded’, could damage much more than was intended. Getting everything under control and safely out of the way will reveal how you can handle things. Act with integrity. People involved can learn a lot from how they react, especially when under pressure.

Geese are known for forming lifelong partnerships, so marriage or partnership may indeed be a consideration in this situation.

Although there may be some feelings of being 'exposed', really letting go and not worrying about being 'seen' can lead to feelings of freedom.
